Construction Management at Risk, or the Team Approach, incorporates Massaro’s construction expertise into developing and estimating the design with the Architect. This delivery method allows the Owner and project Team to have early knowledge of costs, constructability, phasing, and scheduling. In addition, the Owner has control over the selection of the construction firm as well as the subcontractors, which allows for a decision based on expertise, experience, and people, not just the lowest bid.
Decisions made during the preconstruction process determine how successful any construction owner will be in achieving its ultimate project goals.
