One of our Guiding Principles is that "We serve the communities in which we work by encouraging our employees to become involved in non-profit, charitable, and educational organizations."

At Massaro, we believe it is our obligation to contribute to the communities in which we work. We believe that being a good citizen is equally important as being a good contractor.

We believe that it is simply good business to contribute our time and resources to help make our region a better place and to serve the people within a community who need our help.

   
   

CARL BARNHART Memorial Golf Outing

Massaro was proud to host the 9th annual Carl Barnhart Memorial Golf Outing at the Birdsfoot Golf Club in Freetport, PA. The event was held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 and was a rousing success, with Easley and Rivers taking first place. We raised over $5,000 to be donated to The Union Project, a non-profit gathering place for people from the community to connect, create and celebrate.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers who helped make this year’s Outing possible. It is this commitment to the community that Massaro is proud to foster.

The Carl Barhart Memorial Golf Outing is held each September in memory of a field supervisor tragically lost in an automobile accident. The proceeds from the event benefit a local non-profit client to assist them in carrying out their mission. We are looking forward to next year’s event which will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you on the green!
