Massaro Corporation is committed to maintaining the safest working environment for all Massaro employees, subcontractors, owners, architects, project personnel, and visitors.  Safety is an absolutely uncompromised focus of our management plan with continual efforts being taken for improvement.  Nothing is more important to us than our people.

  • Utilizing a sixteen (16) member Safety Committee to perform inspections and review all safety practices
  • Encouraging individual accountability
  • Addressing safety issues at weekly toolbox meetings, job progress meetings, and management meetings
  • Correcting safety deficiencies immediately
  • Sponsoring proactive training programs
  • Implementing a safety incentive program
  • Considering safety everyday as jobs progress
  • Participation in the OSHA Partnering Program

REWARDING Safety

For the individual worker, Massaro has a safety incentive program based on hours worked without a recordable injury. These awards are distributed quarterly with the value of the awards increasing each quarter based on hours worked.

This incentive program encourages everyone to take responsibility for safety on a daily basis. In 2005, 95% of our field employees recieved awards. Our incentive program is one way Massaro strives to ensure the safety of all our employees while rewarding the employees themselves for their proactive efforts to stay injury free.
